Ash-Shu'araa : 17 Tap for tajweed

أَنْ أَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ

Translation: ˹commanded to say:˺ ‘Let the Children of Israel go with us.’’”

Ash-Shu'araa : 18 Tap for tajweed

قَالَ أَلَمْ نُرَبِّكَ فِينَا وَلِيدًا وَلَبِثْتَ فِينَا مِنْ عُمُرِكَ سِنِينَ

Translation: Pharaoh protested, “Did we not raise you among us as a child, and you stayed several years of your life in our care?

Ash-Shu'araa : 19 Tap for tajweed

وَفَعَلْتَ فَعْلَتَكَ ٱلَّتِى فَعَلْتَ وَأَنتَ مِنَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ

Translation: Then you did what you did, being ˹utterly˺ ungrateful!”

Ash-Shu'araa : 20 Tap for tajweed

قَالَ فَعَلْتُهَآ إِذًا وَأَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

Translation: Moses replied, “I did it then, lacking guidance.

Ash-Shu'araa : 21 Tap for tajweed

فَفَرَرْتُ مِنكُمْ لَمَّا خِفْتُكُمْ فَوَهَبَ لِى رَبِّى حُكْمًا وَجَعَلَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

Translation: So I fled from you when I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and made me one of the messengers.

Ash-Shu'araa : 22 Tap for tajweed

وَتِلْكَ نِعْمَةٌ تَمُنُّهَا عَلَىَّ أَنْ عَبَّدتَّ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ

Translation: How can that be a ‘favour,’ of which you remind me, when ˹it was only because˺ you ˹have˺ enslaved the Children of Israel?”

Ash-Shu'araa : 23 Tap for tajweed

قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ وَمَا رَبُّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

Translation: Pharaoh asked, “And what is ‘the Lord of all worlds’?”

Ash-Shu'araa : 24 Tap for tajweed

قَالَ رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ ۖ إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ

Translation: Moses replied, “˹He is˺ the Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything in between, if only you had sure faith.”
