Al-Qamar : 33 Tap for tajweed

كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوطٍۭ بِٱلنُّذُرِ

Translation: The people of Lot ˹also˺ rejected the warnings.

Al-Qamar : 34 Tap for tajweed

إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حَاصِبًا إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٍ ۖ نَّجَّيْنَـٰهُم بِسَحَرٍ

Translation: We unleashed upon them a storm of stones. As for ˹the believers of˺ Lot’s family, We delivered them before dawn

Al-Qamar : 35 Tap for tajweed

نِّعْمَةً مِّنْ عِندِنَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى مَن شَكَرَ

Translation: as a blessing from Us. This is how We reward whoever gives thanks.

Al-Qamar : 36 Tap for tajweed

وَلَقَدْ أَنذَرَهُم بَطْشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوْا۟ بِٱلنُّذُرِ

Translation: He had already warned them of Our ˹crushing˺ blow but they disputed the warnings.

Al-Qamar : 37 Tap for tajweed

وَلَقَدْ رَٰوَدُوهُ عَن ضَيْفِهِۦ فَطَمَسْنَآ أَعْيُنَهُمْ فَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ

Translation: And they even demanded his angel-guests from him, so We blinded their eyes. ˹And they were told,˺ “Taste then My punishment and warnings!”

Al-Qamar : 38 Tap for tajweed

وَلَقَدْ صَبَّحَهُم بُكْرَةً عَذَابٌ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ

Translation: And indeed, by the early morning they were overwhelmed by an unrelenting torment.

Al-Qamar : 39 Tap for tajweed

فَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ

Translation: ˹Again they were told,˺ “Taste now My punishment and warnings!”

Al-Qamar : 40 Tap for tajweed

وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ

Translation: And We have certainly made the Quran easy to remember. So is there anyone who will be mindful?
