Ash-Shams : 1 Tap for tajweed

وَٱلشَّمْسِ وَضُحَىٰهَا

Translation: By the sun and its brightness

Ash-Shams : 2 Tap for tajweed

وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَا

Translation: and the moon as it follows it

Ash-Shams : 3 Tap for tajweed

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا

Translation: and the day as it unveils it

Ash-Shams : 4 Tap for tajweed

وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰهَا

Translation: and the night as it conceals it!

Ash-Shams : 5 Tap for tajweed

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَا

Translation: And by heaven and ˹the One˺ Who built it

Ash-Shams : 6 Tap for tajweed

وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَىٰهَا

Translation: and the earth and ˹the One˺ Who spread it!

Ash-Shams : 7 Tap for tajweed

وَنَفْسٍ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا

Translation: And by the soul and ˹the One˺ Who fashioned it

Ash-Shams : 8 Tap for tajweed

فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَىٰهَا

Translation: then with ˹the knowledge of˺ right and wrong inspired it!
