Al-Lail : 1 Tap for tajweed

وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ

Translation: By the night when it covers

Al-Lail : 2 Tap for tajweed

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ

Translation: and the day when it shines!

Al-Lail : 3 Tap for tajweed

وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ

Translation: And by ˹the One˺ Who created male and female!

Al-Lail : 4 Tap for tajweed

إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّىٰ

Translation: Surely the ends you strive for are diverse.

Al-Lail : 5 Tap for tajweed

فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ

Translation: As for the one who is charitable, mindful ˹of Allah˺

Al-Lail : 6 Tap for tajweed

وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ

Translation: and ˹firmly˺ believes in the finest reward

Al-Lail : 7 Tap for tajweed

فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ

Translation: We will facilitate for them the Way of Ease.

Al-Lail : 8 Tap for tajweed

وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسْتَغْنَىٰ

Translation: And as for the one who is stingy, indifferent ˹to Allah˺
